The Gas System Distribution Department provides Bulk and Specialty Gas Distribution Piping Systems from the outlet gas yard filter skids to the wafer fabrication clean room. The team designs, installs and commissions these bulk distribution piping systems prior to handling over to the customer. Besides installation of the modular system, the project team also undertakes the hook-up of customer equipment to the gas system.

Bulk & Specialty Gas Distribution System Design

 We design and build the Bulk and Specialty Gas Distribution System according to customers’ specifications. The system design and installation complies with local code of practices such as Semi S2 and we are also ISO 9001certified.

Our system is designed to meet the specification for pressure drop, flow balancing and deliver gases at the required purities. Components and system are designed to meet both average and peak flow at the optimum cost and specification.

Pre-Fabrication

We have the expertise and capability to do the pre-fabrication of bulk gas and specialty gas sub main system outside the customer’s premises. The fabrication is done in our Class 10 clean room facilities with Class 1 workbenches.

Bulk & Specialty Gas Distribution System Installation

Our on-site project team ensures that all aspects of on-site construction are properly coordinated and supervised. Continual consultation with our clients enables us to react quickly and flexibly to meet customers’ expectations and ensure lowest cost of ownership.

Bulk & Specialty Gas Hook-Up

We provide tool hook-up services for electronics projects with high reliability, quality and at competitive price. We design and fabricate different types of Gas Distribution Panels (DP) as per the requirements of different tools flow rate, pressure and purity. Our resident hook-up teams react quickly to all customer operational issues to ensure 100% production uptime. We offer 100% traceability of all the critical components used in the hook-up installation.

Decommissioning of Gas Lines

Over the years, we have developed specialized procedures for the safe decommissioning of all types of gas lines. Our experienced engineers coordinate with the customer’s facility engineers and our Total Gas Management Team to decommission gas systems safely. 

Maintenance of Gas Distribution System

Our on-site team manages the gas system installed by assigning the most optimum ports to be hooked up to the tools, enusring pressure and flow balancing for each submain, recommend system upgrading if capacity assignment has reached maximum.

We also maintain the master data base for port of assignments to ensure the hook-up operations are optimized in terms of length, cost and performance.
