Shell Awarded 2nd Safety Milestone Award for Shell Houdini ECC Project  [ Return towards  SOXAL News  ]

SOXAL was presented the 2^nd Safety Milestone Award by Shell while working on its Houdini Ethylene Cracker Complex (ECC) project in Pulau Ular. SOXAL was earlier recognized for its excellent safety and loss prevention programmes that have contributed to the site’s 25 million safety man-hours injury without loss time record. SOXAL has repeated this success by consistently maintaining the high level of safety consciousness among its employees and contractors and achieved a 35 million-safety man-hours" injury without loss time" record.

“The safety culture of Shell ECC is very strong and indoctrinated into everyone here. In other words; we are able to abide by all safety and health regulations daily to go home safely to our loved ones," said Customer Engineering Services Manager On-Site, Mr. Peter Kong. “We are once again honoured to be presented with the 2^nd Safety Milestone Award.”
