Liquid Nitrogen

As an inert gas, it is commonly used in foodstuffs to avoid oxidation or micro-organism growth. Liquefied, it is the most used cryogenic fluid, to chill, freeze or store products.

Carbon Dioxide

It is used in 3 main areas: a) Carbonation of fizzing beverages such as soft drinks, mineral water or beer; b)  Packaging of foodstuffs, its inerting and bacteriostatic properties being used successfully in nitrogen mixtures; c) As cryogenic fluid in chilling or freezing operations or as dry ice for temperature control during the distribution of foodstuffs.
